The New Driftwood Band: News

Today Driftwood release their first single. Written by Dave Rolfe from an Idea by O D Slope, it's a poignant love song based on a scene from Romeo and Juliet. You can download the single from itunes by following this link:

Great news! Driftwood have a new bass player. Nick Wells hails from Eccleshall and had seen the band at the folk club there. So he asked whether he could join. After they had heard him play, the Driftwoodians, a fussy bunch, said 'yes - we like you'. So he's in. Meet him soon at a venue near you.

Many thanks go to Dave Sutherland, for standing in while the band were looking for a new bass player.

The New Driftwood Band is here. Having spent the end of 20010 in rehearsal, the new band is ready to launch. Now featuring the fine vocal talents of Emma Woodhouse, the new band have a brand new repertoire but have retained a few of the old favourites for old times' sake.
